Today, we proudly introduce Ed Beall, our Maintenance Supervisor for BMG. Read on to discover all about Ed, his professional background, and what he enjoys most about working here at Bay Property Management Group.

Meet Ed Beall, Maintenance Supervisor

Ed Beall is our Maintenance Supervisor for BMG and works on the Hillsdale Manor Apartments and Forest Glen Townhomes.

He started with BMG as a maintenance technician in 2022 and continues to lead the maintenance team to success.

Throughout any issue, he communicates with tenants and ensures them that their complaints are heard and important. Ed truly enjoys what he does and likes making residents happy.

With over 30 years of experience in maintenance and construction, Ed started by building and working on homes and apartments. His dedication and interest in helping people have brought him to his current position with BMG. He’s always been a hard worker, as he started 45 years ago working on a farm.

A Day in the Life of Ed Beall

Ed starts his day around 8 am and spends his work days managing maintenance requests and staff members. On a typical day of work, he oversees tickets, manages work supplies, completes various work orders, and does whatever he can to make residents smile.

Ed’s favorite part of being a maintenance supervisor is fixing things and changing residents’ attitudes.

He likes anything related to woodwork and loves helping people. He recognizes the passion and dedication that property management takes and always strives for excellence.

One thing that surprises Ed while working in this industry is the number of people who’d rather rent than buy homes. Additionally, one thing Ed wished people knew about his job is that it’s harder than it looks. He’s responsible for fixing a lot of things in-house, which can be difficult and time-consuming.

Why Ed Loves Bay Property Management Group

According to Ed, one thing that sets Bay Property Management Group apart is excellent customer service. He says:

“I’ve noticed that everyone at BMG carries a positive attitude.”

Here at BMG, we strive to create a healthy balance between the needs of renal owners and tenants to keep everyone satisfied. His best piece of advice for those considering a job in the property management field or those already in the field includes the following:

“You may hear more complaints than ‘thank you’ sometimes, but the smiles and waves make it worth it.”
