Meet Kristina Marinello, Leasing Manager
Kristina is a proud graduate from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a BA in Communications and a concentration in Business Management. Before joining the Bay Property Management family in June of 2020, she worked in Residential Real Estate for eight years. Through those eight years, Kristina heavily immersed herself in leasing, property management, revenue management, and resident relations.
A Day in the Life of the Leasing Manager
Kristina’s days are busy with responsibilities, including managing the leasing agents, dealing with prospective tenant issues, and marketing all vacancies and new properties. Additionally, she takes all marketing photos, performs administrative duties, sets up new properties in AppFolio, generates renewals, and completes new leases. A leasing manager’s work is never done!
As part of her daily routine, Kristina is continuously following up with residents regarding renewals and checking in with agents regarding showings, leasing questions, or any other issue they may have to make their clients receive the ultimate leasing experience. When asked what her favorite part of her job was, Kristina responded:
“Being able to work with intelligent and goal-driven individuals daily. Also, I am constantly learning about the business and rental market here in Philly, and I truly believe that learning is the key to success.”

She believes that communication is the key to success in this industry. Her best piece of advice for those considering this field is to ALWAYS communicate, especially with future tenants and current tenants. Following up and answering phone calls or emails is very important.
Getting to Know Kristina Outside of the Office
When you’re not in the office, what do you like to do?
- When I am not in the office, I love to hit the gym and work out.
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
- Definitely Alaskan king crab legs, or some sort of seafood tower!
Name something off your bucket list.
- Go on a safari in the south of Africa.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet and why?
- Frank Sinatra. He is a huge part of my family and where they came from in Hoboken, NJ. He also just seems like a very down to earth fun guy to hang out with.
Describe your dream vacation.
- My dream vacation would be cursing the Amalfi Coast during the summer in a beautiful yacht.
