Meet Jessica DaSilva, Leasing Agent
Jessica joined the team at Bay Property Management Group Philadelphia as a Leasing Agent approximately nine months ago. Before that, she studied Journalism and Sociology at Rutgers State University. But eventually, Jessica went on to work in the real estate industry and was an agent in the Philadelphia area before transitioning to her current role. Jessica loves Philadelphia’s perfect mix of a big city and quaint neighborhood vibes. Each neighborhood is vastly different from one another. In addition, there are so many fantastic coffee shops, restaurants, nightlife, and concert venues to explore. All of which is amidst one of the most historical cities in the country.
A Day in the Life of a Leasing Agent
With coffee in hand, Jessica’s day begins with checking emails and following up with our leads. In addition, she communicates with owners to provide regular updates on the leasing process, conducts tours, guides prospects through the application process, and prepares leasing documents. It is also crucial for Jessica to partner with the property management team to ensure any turnover processes are complete. Thus, making sure that the property is ready to go for upcoming move-ins. When asked what her favorite part of her job was, Jessica responded:
“Every day is different, and I get to be out and about showing people great properties that they’re excited about. I love that I’m not tied to a desk, although that may work for some people.”

- When you’re not in the office, what do you like to do? – If I’m not spoiling my dog, Lake, I enjoy going out in the city for dinner and drinks with my boyfriend, watching movies, playing board games, or working out on my Peloton (not sponsored)

- If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet and why? – Robin Williams. He was one of the first people that came to mind. He was an absolute legend, and watching him in movies always makes me smile.
