What Inspired Tatjana to Pursue This Career?
Before starting at BMG in September, Tatjana gained valuable experience in business management, real estate, and property management. Having a background in all these areas equipped her with the essential skills for success in the industry.
Tatjana’s career path began when she helped a friend manage a property management company part-time. That experience sparked her interest in the industry and led to a full-time opportunity where she was able to explore various roles and grow her career.
According to her, experience is important. However, exceptional customer service is ultimately what makes the biggest impact.
A Typical Day at BMG for Tatjana Wright
For Tatjana, a typical day of being a resident property manager involves a lot of the same tasks as a financial advisor. In fact, developing a financial relationship with tenants takes up the majority of her day.
Helping to explore financial assistance, payment plans, or alternatives is a daily strategy that she explores for both our owners and tenants. She says,
“Working with property managers daily and updating the health of our tenants’ ledgers is always the priority of the day.”
Are There Any Recognitions That Have Helped You Grow in Your Role?
Tatjana has received numerous recognitions over the years, including obtaining her real estate license and earning her Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certification.
Not only do these achievements mark key milestones in her career, but they also reflect her continued growth in the industry.
What’s Most Satisfying or Motivating About the Job?
What Tatjana finds most motivating is making sure our goals align with both tenants and property owners. Being able to find that balance and deliver successful outcomes for everyone is incredibly satisfying, especially on more challenging days.

Skills that Help Her Succeed in Property Management
There are so many skills necessary to succeed in property management. However, Tatjana thinks the number one skill is customer service, and most people in the industry would agree that it’s one of the most important skills to have.
At the end of the day, how you communicate and support both owners and tenants can make or break the overall experience.
What Impact Does Tatjana Want to Make?
In the long term, she hopes to maintain efficient workflows while also introducing new financial and assistance resources for both tenants and property owners.

“I enjoy spending time with my family, and anything my children enjoy.”

“Having my own family. I truly enjoy being a mom and a wife.”

“I would enjoy meeting any celebrity, especially actors. I enjoy the personality behind the mask/actor.”

“I want to be known for who I really am. I’m very outgoing, family-oriented, friendly, and dedicated.”
