Meet Steven Williams, Maintenance Technician
Steven joined the Bay Property Management Group Philadelphia team as a Maintenance Technician approximately eight months ago. Before that, he owned a home improvement company for over 15 years. Steven likes Philadelphia because that’s where his family is.
A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Technician
A day in Steven’s life starts at 6 am. He wakes up early and is out the door by 6:30 am to travel to properties in need of repairs. He travels to scattered sites whether it’s apartment buildings, single-family homes, condos, etc. to make repairs for the residents. Additionally, Steven makes trips to the hardware store, if necessary. Then, he writes up his invoices to send to his supervisor along with his time card for the day.
Steven’s favorite part of working as a maintenance technician for Bay Property Management Group in Philadelphia is the flexibility he has with his schedule. When asked if there’s anything that’s surprised him while working in this industry, Steven replied, “Nothing really surprises me with the years I have in repairs and maintenance. I have seen it all!”.

Getting to Know Steven Williams Outside of the Office
- When you’re not in the office, what do you like to do? – I have re-started my home improvement company on a much smaller scale so I check in on the work and help with the work in my free time as well as spend time with my grandson.
- Tell us something off your bucket list – Travel the world. See the Serengeti.
- If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet and why? – J. (basketball player). He is fascinated to overcome struggles to become the greatest basketball player in Philadelphia history.
- If you could dis-invent one thing, what would it be? – Weapons as I have experienced losses due to them.
- What are three words to describe yourself? – Fun, hardworking, energetic
