Meet Ranette Dangoy; Property Manager
Ranette has worked with BMG for over a year as a property manager. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and a secondary course in social studies and science. Ranette also intends to pursue MA in economics in the future.
Despite being new to BMG, she’s been in the industry for a while now. However, this is her first time managing residential properties. Before joining our team, Ranette worked for a property management company where she managed HOAs. In addition, she also handled the company’s financial matters, reports, and budgets. This experience has given her a wealth of knowledge that now assists in her current role at BMG.
A Day in the Life of a Property Manager at BMG
Ranette has several responsibilities, including resolving and de-escalating potential issues, which also happens to be her favorite part of the job. In addition, Ranette uses her background in customer service to effectively communicate between or on behalf of our clients. Communication is also vital as she works with owners and vendors to coordinate the property turnover process.
A typical day for Ranette starts by checking emails, then proceeding with urgent issues before completing her day-to-day tasks. According to Ranette, her favorite part of the property management industry is building relationships. When asked if anything has surprised her about working in this field, Ranette answered:
“It is dynamic. As a property manager, every day presents new challenges where you have to quickly assess whatever is necessary. This has helped me greatly enhance my decision-making abilities.”

Getting to Know Ranette Outside of the Office
- When you’re not in the office, what do you like to do? – Drive to a Dunkin Donuts drive-thru, go shopping (but not for myself), and sleep.
- Tell us something off your bucket list – I don’t really have a “list,” but if I had to share one, it would most likely be visiting at least five museums outside of the country.
- If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet and why? – My future husband, really, where is he? Just kidding. I’d like to meet Leonardo Da Vinci and ask him to give me his painting Salvator Mundi.
- What is the best book you have ever read? – By far, the most recent book I read was Simon Sinek’s Start With Why.
- If you could dis-invent one thing, what would it be? – Nuclear Weapons
- What are three words to describe yourself? – Optimistic, Adaptable, Easy-going
