Meet Jason Bucolo, Maintenance Technician
Jason brings extensive experience to his role at Bay Property Management Group. He has a wealth of knowledge in everything from new construction, custom framing, commercial and residential remodels, flooring, flips, and everything in between. Jason has over 15 years of experience in various aspects of construction and was also a real estate agent before joining the BMG team almost 5 years ago. In his current role as one of our go-to maintenance technicians, Jason is responsible for handling property inspections, turnover repairs, and general maintenance requests.
A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Technician
As a maintenance technician, Jason admits that no two days are ever the same. Thus, the ability to adapt and prioritize are critical skills to be successful in this role. Most days, he juggles a busy schedule that includes responding to tenant repair needs and completing property inspections after move out. With these inspections, Jason draws on his construction background to determine what work a unit requires before a new tenant can move in. Then, working with the property manager, he completes any repairs or renovations needed to get the rental unit looking its best for the next client. When asked what his favorite part of his job was, Jason responded:
“I like the fact that every day is different. I stay busy while getting to see some great Baltimore architecture and meeting some cool people in the process!”

Getting to Know Jason Outside of the Office
- When you’re not in the office, what do you like to do? – I’ve coached both of my son’s travel baseball teams for the last 6 years. That takes up a lot of my time, but any free time is spent at the beach!
- Name something off your bucket list. – See the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean and sunset over the Pacific Ocean on the same day.
- If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet and why? – I think a conversation with Joe Rogan would be interesting. He’s talked to so many different people about so many different things.
- What is the best book you have ever read? – Rich Dad Poor Dad
- If you could dis-invent one thing, what would it be? – It is a toss-up between flathead screws or drywall nails!
- What three words best describe you? – Kind, Hardworking, and Passionate
