Meet Fran Dilworth, Lead Maintenance Technician
Fran brings a varied background and extensive experience to his current role is as the Lead Maintenance Technician for Bay Property Management Group Philadelphia. Before joining the team 3 years ago, Fran owned a landscaping company and worked as a tech and building supervisor for multi-family properties. His industry, business, and customer service expertise help him throughout his daily tasks. Besides handling repairs and inspections, some of Fran’s responsibilities are to ensure the daily and weekly schedule is completed in order and write up daily invoices for processing.
A Day in the Life of the Lead Maintenance Technician
Fran enjoys the chance to interact with residents, and his role allows him to be front and center, making repairs and handling tenant maintenance concerns. For Fran, the day starts early, and he is out the door by around 6:45 am. From there, he spends his day assessing maintenance concerns, picking up supplies, and making repairs. Once one job is complete, Fran draws up the invoice and heads off to the next job. When asked what his favorite part of his job was, Fran responded:
“I appreciate the flexibility of working on my time and starting early/ending early. This is an easy company to work for without micro-management. I love the satisfaction of seeing a job through to completion.”
