We Are Now Hiring for the Following Positions

Leasing Agent

Bay Management Group is seeking to hire a leasing agent to come onboard our growing company.  The agent will be working with single family homes, condos, townhouse, and apartment buildings, which are spread throughout Baltimore City and surrounding counties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Marketing properties
  • Visiting the property and placing a lockbox if needed
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the property manager
  • Following up with leads
  • Scheduling tours
  • Accepting applications
  • Securing holding deposits
  • Collecting first month’s rent
  • Meeting the tenant on move in day to tour the property and hand off keys
  • Keeping an open line of communication with the property owner and updating them weekly

No license or real estate experience is necessary to do well in this position.  Strong customer service, organization, written and verbal communication, intermediate computer skills, and work ethic will be required.  You must have a very flexible schedule, and be extremely self-motivated to do well as an agent.  Our leasing agents work on commission, and do not have a ceiling for the amount of money that they can make.

Property Manager

Bay Management is seeking an experienced property manager to join our growing team.  This individual will be responsible for a portfolio of 200-250 units, including single family homes, townhomes, condos, and apartment buildings.  These units are spread throughout Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. You will not be required to manage any staff for this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Schedule and follow up with all maintenance requests.
  • Process all renewals.
  • Ensure property is in compliance with proper certificates and licenses.
  • Schedule and track all turnover work from move out to move in.
  • Walk and inspect properties after turn has been completed.
  • Send late rent letters, file in court for collections, and schedule evictions.
  • Process move outs for security deposit reimbursement.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with the property owner.

 

Three years of previous property management experience is desired for this role.  We would be willing to give Assistant Property Managers and Leasing Managers an opportunity to interview as well.  Strong customer service, organization, written and verbal communication, and dedication are needed to be successful in this position.

Company offers 401K, employee-paid health insurance, 6 paid holidays, and 15 PTO days (after 90 day probationary period).  Starting salary is dependent on experience.

Maintenance Tech

Bay Management Group is seeking to hire a maintenance technician who can handle routine service calls and prepare apartments and homes for new tenants.  These properties are scattered all over Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, and AA County.  This individual should have experience in the following to be considered:

  • Minor electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Masonry
  • Cabinetry
  • Flooring
  • Doors
  • Locks
  • Drywall
  • Trim
  • Paint

Experience, a clean driving record, and references are a must to be considered! Must be able to work with an electronic calendar, IPad (for inspection photos), and email.  You will also be required to give thorough estimates and write up your own invoices.  A company van will be provided, which you can use as your vehicle after hours as well! Bay Management Group will pay for all expenses related to the company van.

Company offers 401K, employee-paid health insurance, 6 paid holidays, 15 PTO days (after 90 day probationary period), and a quarterly bonus.  Starting salary is dependent on experience.

Assistant Property Manager

Bay Management Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. The individual will be responsible for assisting in the management of a portfolio of about 350 apartment units in the Mount Vernon area in downtown Baltimore.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage and coordinate maintenance requests from tenants
  • Manage and coordinate move out inspections and turnover work
  • Walk and inspect properties after a turnover has been completed
  • Handle all filings, evictions, and payment plans
  • Handle all renewal signings and follow up
  • Handle all lease signings
  • Ensure property is in compliance with proper certificates and licenses

Two years of previous property management experience is desired for this role. Strong customer service, organization, written and verbal communication, and dedication are needed to be successful in this position.
